If you want to watch a movie without your parents having a conniption, this is the post for you! We've scoured through a bunch of sites and compiled this list of non-scary movies that are appropriate for kids. Now, we won't say that these films will be suitable for EVERYONE, but if you're looking for something your little sister can watch while she's sick in bed? Look no further! We hope you enjoy these titles. If we missed anything really great, let us know in the comments — we'll add any recommendations to our upcoming lists. Have a happy Halloween and thanks for reading! 1. WALL•E (2008) Disney and Pixar's WALL•E is a cute love story with just enough "awww" moments to keep the little ones entertained. It has a bit of action, but nothing too scary for those of you that want to introduce your small children to the world of animation. The movie won't be as enjoyable for adults as it will the kids — we guarantee — but it's perfect for everyone involved to sit down and watch. It was also nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2008 Oscars, so you know you're in good company! Check out this short clip: http://www.youtube. com/watch?v=0m7rDwW2V3I "WALL•E" is rated G (General Audiences) by the MPAA. This rating, by the way, means that "all parents are strongly cautioned to consider whether their children are old enough to viewing this film". 2. Robots (2005) If you've got a little guy in the house that loves robots, he probably loves this movie! Robots is based on a children's book with the same name. It's about how an old robot tries to teach a new robot how to be human. It sounds a little cheesey, but it's got a great score and is one of those movies that really make you think. It's about the importance of friendship, changing for the better, and finding your "home". Check out this clip to see how cute it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxmT_2DMz0c "Robots" is rated PG (Parental Guidance Suggested). The MPAA warns that some material may not be appropriate for children under the age of 6.3. The Tale of Despereaux (2008) Another animated film, this one is based on a book of the same name by Kate DiCamillo. A movie that's not only appropriate for children, but adults as well. Despereaux was released in November 2008 to fairly good reviews. It tells the story of a mouse who doesn't fit in with all the other mice, but is determined to become a hero anyway. The film has an all-star cast including Matthew Broderick, Ciaran Hinds, William H Macy and Dustin Hoffman. "Despereaux" is rated "PG". This rating means that it may be unsuitable for viewers under the age of 12.4. cfa1e77820
